Reusable Goods Swap
Finnriver is partnering with Jefferson County Public Works to celebrate re-use and waste reduction. Join us at the Cider Garden in Chimacumfor the Reusable Goods Swap on Friday 11/17
10am-5pm and Saturday 11/18 from 12pm-5:30pm. Bring your items to the Haybarn in good condition and exchange them for things you need! Bring a thing, or just take something, or both!
It's all free. See details below:
Details:
1. Bring reusable items in any of the following categories:
🪑Household items (small furniture, lamps, small coffee tables, dishes, no couches or beds please)
👕Clothing & Shoes 👟
📚Books, CD's, DVD's & vinyl
🌼Yard & Garden
⚽Outdoor & Recreation
🐕Pet Supplies
🔨Tools, but please no battery-operated tools if they don’t have a functioning battery and charger, and no outdated light fixtures please.
2. Place your items on the tables labeled with the correct category.
3. Choose items others have brought in to take home with you.
4. All items must be in good working condition.
5. You may bring no more than 10 items.
We are also helping to promote the Public Works' Sustainability Stars Pilot Program to reduce plastic for restaurants, grocery stores, food trucks, etc. serving food on the go. Public
