Iris is a local community member and a US citizen. She was born here but grew up in Mexico. Iris had to flee for her life from domestic violence and cartel violence, leaving her 5 year
old and 2 year old sons at the border in care of a family friend. The children, who are not US citizens, have been at the border wall for over three months and are exhausted, scared
and missing their mom.
The cartel supports her abuser who was a criminal gang member in the US and was deported. He is a drug user who is actively stalking her family in Mexico and searching for her sons.
Iris needs immediate support to hire an immigration attorney to reunite her with her children, as soon as possible. Lets make this a happy Christmas for Iris and her children.
