To whom it may concern, I am strongly in favor of a new pool for Jefferson County. Every community needs an up to date pool for its citizens, from children learning to swim, to adults
trying to stay in shape, to those of us with artificial joints (I have 4!) who need the pool to stay healthy. My doctors have said I recuperated well from surgeries due to exercising
in the pool. From all the meetings I have attended I have learned that our present pool built in 1963 is on its last legs and needs to be replaced. The pool is outdated and not up
to code for people with disabilities, and the lanes are not long enough for competition swimming. We need a new pool, and I hope that you vote in favor of it!
