Scheduled for Monday, December 4, 2023 at 11:15 a.m. in the Commissioners' Chambers at the
Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson Street, Port Townsend, WA(HYBRID)
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
Every odd year the Board of County Commissioners holds a public hearing on the
recommended Jefferson County Biennial Budget. After receiving and considering public
testimony, the Commissioners may direct staff to prepare a final Biennial Budget for 2024-
2025 for potential adoption at a subsequent meeting.
ANALYSIS:
The public hearing for the 2024-2025 Biennial Budget is scheduled for December 4,2023 at 11:15
a.m. and will be advertised on November 22 and 29, 2023 in The Port Townsend Leader. The
Board will hear public testimony regarding all funds at that time. Written testimony on the
proposed 2024-2025 Biennial Budget will be accepted until the close of the public hearing.

2024-2025 Jefferson County Biennial Budget
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing is scheduled by the Jefferson County
Board of Commissioners for MONDAY.December 4. 2023 at 11:15 a.m. in the Commissioners'
Chambers, County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson Street, Port Townsend, WA 98368 (HYBRID).
Notice of said hearing is to be published in the official newspaper of Jefferson County.
This hearing is to inform citizens of the 2024-2025 Biennial Budget including the General Fund,
Public Works, Special Funds, and the Jefferson County Road Construction Program.
