Hello BOCC,
I understand you will be discussing the new pool proposal (Healthier Together), at your upcoming meeting on Monday, November 20th. I will not be able to attend this meeting in person
due to the time of the meeting, but I wanted to express my support for the new pool.
I am part of a commercial fishing family, and as a result my three children spend a decent amount of time on the water. As a result it is incredibly important to me that my children
have a safe place to learn to swim and play/practice being in the water.
My family is currently an active user of the Mountain View Pool, and are enrolled in the pilot group swim lessons the YMCA has been conducting over the past few months. It is my hope
that East Jefferson County continues to have a pool for my children and others to use as they grow up here.
