Hello,
I'm a resident of Port Townsend and wanted to express my full support for a new pool to replace the old one. If there were any way to improve the old one, I'd be for that, but the cost-effectiveness
is with building a new one. I swim three or four days a week in the mornings and I see a wide spectrum of pool use, from experienced lap swimmers to people doing water aerobics to people
using the pool to recover from physical problems to kids learning to swim.
A new pool would be a great use to the county and a way to attract younger families too.
I hope you'll vote to go ahead with the pool recommendations.
