As a senior citizen and grandmother I implore and beg you to do everything in your power to keep the Port Townsend pool going.
After knee and back surgery, as well as a replaced shoulder, the pool is a big help to keep me moving and sane. Not only is the physical exercise a tremendous help, the socializing
and camaraderie at the pool is crucial for the mental wellbeing of many seniors as well.
As you surely are aware, there are many opponents out there, using scare tactics about increasing property taxes, enormous and increasing building costs, along with a lot of misinformation.
Together with many arrithic seniors in need of exercise and social contacts I appeal to you to consider keeping the pool open, we really do need it desperately.
