As a family of 3 with a 5 year old, I wanted to make a plea for you to move forward with the pool proposal. I really cannot imagine our community without a local pool. This is absolutely
necessary for my child to learn to swim. We live in a coastal community. Having no place to teach our children would be unimaginable and mind-boggling. The sort of thing that would
make this community less-livable. Especially for families, where there are already so few resources. Not only that but a pool is an excellent tool for exercise. Both for normal folks
like myself but also for our aging population and anyone in need of rehab. A pool is an essential community resource. We will be without one soon as our pool is aging beyond repair
rapidly. All of the families and adults that I know are in support of taking on a small amount of tax to fund this legacy project. Please vote yes!
