To whom it may concern:
I’m writing in support of this long overdue project for the following reasons:
1) the current pool is on its last legs and if something isn’t done soon we will not have any pool.
2) all children need to learn to swim as we live on the water.
3) this is one of the few options for year round family activity in this community.
4) many members of this community, young and old, need a place to rehab after medical treatments.
5) this would provide a place for exercise for people who have limited mobility.
6) swim team is an important option for many students who have no other life long sport.
7) there is no shallow end in the current pool for babies and toddlers.
We thank you for your consideration of this long sought after facility. The health of our entire community is so important. This replacement facility would go a long way toward providing
that.
