Dear Commissioners:
Thank you for saying "Heh wait a minute!" on the pool replacement. Port Townsend has always had a grand idea and no money to pay for it, as evidenced by the PDA, Cherry Street Project,
Golf Course and replacing the pool.
The last thing needed is a MFD of PFD taxing district which makes affordable housing ever more aggravated. The utility bill already has a surcharge for future required replacement or
repair and now they want another tax to fix the roads which I consider a basic government service.
Everyone uses the roads and utilities but only a few use the pool. Labeling it a county, state or national pool doesn't make it cheaper or more desirable.
This is a Port Townsend thing so let them solve it and stay out of it.
