Good morning everyone,
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend with family and/or friends. Now that we have crossed into the time of year when we begin to seriously think about the next year, I wanted
to get some feedback from you all on potential times to host an inaugural kick-off meeting for our informal, regional Ag Planning and Policy group.
Here is a when2meet poll <https://www.when2meet.com/?22571373-VnPoJ> to help us find a block of time that can accommodate as many schedules as possible. (If you haven’t used when2meet,
just enter your name – no sign-in required – and drag the calendar to shade it green in the times you are available.) I plan to select a 1.5-2 hour block from these times for the first
meeting. We will take time to introduce ourselves, the types of projects we work on, and what we hope to gain from these quarterly sessions. We will use feedback from this SurveyMonkey
poll on potential topics <https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/FSN9KWY> of interest to discuss potential meeting topics for the rest of 2024. We will also try to find a time that works for
as many people as possible for the rest of the 2024 sessions.
Before the first meeting, we’ll send out a brief note about the topics of interest to help attendees prepare to say a few words or bring ideas about how you might like to contribute
to a specific topic area. The idea for these sessions will be to discuss experiences with changing rules and policies and hopefully help one another identify paths to expedited and
improved policies and initiatives. This may involve highlighting the work of a particular county or two on certain topics, or we may invite guests to join us and help answer questions
that may help us create better policies and regulations.
So, please complete BOTH polls in the next couple of weeks so we can get something on our calendars for Q1 2024.
