Living in this beautiful seaport can be a bit harsh on all the lights and we find ourselves needing to replace them. This year we are asking you all to consider making a donation for Giving Tuesday to the Port Townsend Main Street Program to help us keep our town looking festive and bright! Santa is coming to town! There will be appearances and photo opps with Santa. The Wild Rose Chorale will be out and about singing merry tunes and PT Artscape will help children make ornaments under the tent at Tyler Plaza. At 4:30pm, Santa will leave the Flagship Landing area on the Kiwanis Choo Choo and head over to the Haller Fountain to light the Community Tree. - UPTOWN NIGHT MARKET - December 8th, 2023 Join participating Uptown businesses for a night of shopping, music, refreshments and more! - MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS - December 6th - 11th & 24th, 2023 An extravaganza of lights and amazement that will conjure up the wonder and magic inside us all. - BIG BRASS YULE BALL - December 16th, 2023 Presented by Olympic Peninsula Steam - FIRST NIGHT CELEBRATION- December 31st, 2023 The Production Alliance Presents: First Night in Port Townsend An all-ages New Year's Eve Celebration <https://mcusercontent.com/72d728eac0a891fc7cdd75517/images/2914ec47-13ac-0399-19c6-6171f82bbf50.gif> Did you know that our 501c3 nonprofit works in four volunteer committees--Organization, Design, Economics, and Promotion? We care for the hanging flower baskets, downtown gardens and Adams Street Park. We coordinate Creative District efforts, work on design projects, promote our local economy, coordinate events, and help light up Port Townsend for the holidays. We offer low-interest loan funds to property owners for commercial building renovations and microloans to business owners to offset the financial impacts of emergencies. The work of the Port Townsend Main Street Program enhances the quality of life for residents and visitors.
