IN THE MATTER OF }
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC ON }
PARADISE BAY ROAD }
COUNTY ROAD No. 503608 }
RESOLUTION NO. 43-06
WHEREAS, planned construction work on Paradise Bay Road, County Road No. 503608, Project No. CR1148, shall
cause intermittent interruption and unavoidable delays to traffic, and
WHEREAS, potential hazard exists to the motoring public and the construction workers, and
WHEREAS, the contractor has secured an agreement with Port Ludlow Associates to use Breaker Lane (private) as a
temporary alternate route for the motoring public, and
WHEREAS, Chapter 47.48R.C.W. authorized closure of roads,
IT IS HEREBY RESOL VED, that said Paradise Bay Road from milepost 0.00, Oak Bay Road intersection to milepost
0.19, Breaker Lane (private) intersection be closed intermittently to all traffic at times to be approved by the County
Engineer. Closures will occur intermittently for periods of one to three days duration over the time period commencing July
24, 2006 and terminating August 31, 2006 or until such earlier date that it is determined to be safe for traffic, and
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, that authority to approve these road closures is hereby delegated to the County
Engineer.
