Raptor Roost Way
WHEREAS, Jefferson County has received a petition (Exhibit "A") to name a private road,
located at milepost 3.07 right on Chicken Coop Road and as shown on attached map (Exhibit
"B"), either Raptor Ridge Way or Raptor Way or Raptor Roost Way; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner is a property owner on this road; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner wishes to establish this road name, pursuant to the Jefferson
County 911 Emergency Locator System Ordinance Number 2-0401-91, to allow for addressing
along the road; and
WHEREAS, research has shown that there are currently two addresses assigned at this
milepost number; and
WHEREAS, notification was sent to interested parties; and
WHEREAS, no responses were received from adjacent property owners; and
WHEREAS, JEFFCOM found all of these choices to be acceptable and Fire District #5
found the second and third name choices to be acceptable; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the road be named Raptor Way.
ADOPTED THIS 28th DAY OF MAY, 2006.
