Naming a Private Road
Maury Anderson Road or
Trillum Road or
Rosebud Road
WHEREAS, Jefferson County has received a petition (Exhibit "A") to name a private road,
as outlined on the attached map (Exhibit "B") and more specifically shown on the survey of
Quilcrest View Tracts recorded at Auditor's File No. 325128, records of Jefferson County, Wa.,
either Maury Anderson Road or Trillum Road or Rosebud Road; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner is a property owner on this road; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner wishes to establish this road name, pursuant to the Jefferson
County 911 Emergency Locator System Ordinance Number 2-0401-91, to allow for addressing
along the road; and
WHEREAS, research has shown that there is currently one address on this road, assigned
from milepost 1.59 on East Quilcene Road; and
WHEREAS, notification was sent to agencies and adjacent property owners; and
WHEREAS, Fire Protection District #2 and Jeff Com both support the first name choice of
Maury Anderson Road; and
WHEREAS, no negative responses were received for the first name choice of Maury
Anderson Road;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the road be named Maury Anderson Road.
ADOPTED THIS 27thDAY OF NOVEMBER, 2006.
