In the matter of:

Naming a private road }
Quilcrest Lane or Quilcrest View Lane }
or Quil Bay View Lane }
WHEREAS, Jefferson County has received a petition (Exhibit "A ") to name a private road,
as outlined on the attached map (Exhibit "B ") and more specifically shown on the survey of
Quilcrest View Tracts recorded at Auditor's File No. 325128, records of Jefferson County, Wa.,
either Quilcrest Lane or Quilcrest View Lane or Quil Bay View Lane; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner is a property owner on this road; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner wishes to establish this road name, pursuant to the Jefferson
County 911 Emergency Locator System Ordinance Number 2- 0401 -91, to allow for addressing
along the road; and
WHEREAS, research has shown that there are currently two addresses on this road
assigned from milepost 1.59 on East Quilcene Road; and
WHEREAS, notification was sent to agencies and the one adjacent property owner; and
WHEREAS, Fire Protection District #2 and JeffCom find all three name choices to be
acceptable; and
WHEREAS, the only adjacent property owner responded in support of the first name
choice of Quilcrest Lane; and
WHEREAS, no negative responses were received for the first name choice of Quilcrest
Lane;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the road be named Quilcrest Lane.
ADOPTED THIS 2 7th DAY OF NOVEMBER, 2006.
