• Motion (RH) to approve staff recommendation on Comprehensive Plan and send the
draft recommendation to the BoCC:
1st: CK | 2nd: RH | 5 Yay | 0 Nay | 2 Abstentions – Motion Passes
7. Final approval of recommendations on proposed Amendments to Shoreline Master Program
(SMP). A draft Planning Commission letter for transmittal of the recommendation to the BoCC
has been provided by DCD staff.
The Planning Commission may take action on this item.

b. Commission Deliberation:
• Motion (RH) for the Chair to sign the SMP letter of transmittal and forward the letter
to the BoCC:
1st: MaS | 2nd: MN | 3 Yay | 3 Nay | 1 Abstention – Motion Fails
The Chair directed DCD staff to draft a letter to the BoCC stating that the Planning
Commission has no recommendation on the SMP at this time. The Planning Commission
also requested that this letter explain why the Planning Commission has no
recommendation at this time.
8. Planning Commission Updates
• MN: Request for Port Ludlow Master Planned Resort (PL MPR) MERU totals and
process by which these numbers are tracked. Concerned with PL MPR water usage.
9. DCD Staff and Director Updates (5 minutes)
• Joel Petersen: Cancellation of November 15th Planning Commission meeting.
• Josh Peters: Discussion of increased security measures to thwart future ZOOM
disruptions.
