A Resolution Adopting a Fee Schedule for the 5 6— 2 3
County Auditor RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, Jefferson County is a political subdivision of the state of Washington as
provided by iitl,� 16 RC'�\ and the Washington State Constitution :Vtije_f_(, and may impose fees
to recoup the costs of providing services to the public; and.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners may adopt fees charged by the County
Auditor to implement code and statutory duties pursuant to RCW 58.09.100; and,
WHEREAS, JCC authorizes the County Auditor to request adoption of its fee
schedule by resolution; and,
WHEREAS, minor changes to the fee schedule are necessary to allow for charges for maps
in a manner identical to charges for survey s. to eliminate the $1.00 fee for each additional owner' s
name on record of land surveys, and to reduce other fees; and
WHEREAS, the proposed changes that eliminate County Auditor fees from the Appendix
Fee Schedules and allow adoption of new fees by resolution is consistent with this ordinance and
chapter ,._8,O of the Jefferson County Code.
NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF JEFFERSON COUNTY:
Section 1. The above " Whereas " Clauses are hereby adopted as findings of fact.
Section 2. The 2023 County Auditor Fee Schedule attached in the Appendix is hereby adopted.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect on January 1, 2024.

2023 FEE SCHEDULE FOR JEFFERSON COUNTY AUDITOR
Survey Recording Act Fees (pursuant to RCW 58.09.100)
1. Record of Survey and Maps (18 x 24):
(a) Basic fee — first page $25.00
(b) Each additional page $5.00
2. Copies 18 x 24:
(a) Basic fee — first page $5.00
(b) Each additional page $1.00
3. Record of Monument:
(a) The record of monument shall be filed without charge on the standard form prescribed by
the Department of Natural Resources, Bureau of Surveys and Maps.
(b) Copies of the record of monument shall be provided on request according to the
following fees schedule:
Basic fee $1.00 per page
