Hello,
I am writing because I am trying to build an ADU on our property. I have achieved the enviable result of lining up a contractor who is ready to go, yet my application of June is not
approved.
An SDR consultant sent me an email November 6 requesting my application for an SDR which I had previously filed and paid handsomely for in June. He did not acknowledge my resubmission
to him nor my re-request. In the “real world”, he would be held accountable.
My building permit is being held up by the health department because of the impossible contradiction that they can only move forward if I get a demolition permit, which requires ORCAA
signoff which they will not signoff because we won’t be doing the demo for at least 2 years. To Emma Erickson’s credit (in the health department) is trying to do something. It has
now been over a week since she said she would request an appointment with the building department to resolve this paradox. I have not heard from her yet about its status.
Can you help me, please? Do you hire the director of planning? How’s he doing.
