Dear commissioners, thank you for the work you do.
My name is Michael Byers and I live in Port Hadlock with my spouse and three young children. We use the existing pool occasionally throughout the year with more intensive periods during
the summer, when school is out. Access to the pool insures that my kids retain their beginning swimming skills between otherwise infrequent visits to their grandparents house. We do
visit the pool in sequim and the Port Angeles pool but would much prefer to stay local and avoid the drive time.
We are in full support of a new, updated pool facility located in Port Townsend, although a spot near us in Port Hadlock would also be nice! Wherever, what is important to us is access
to a swimming facility.
