Some lessons to be learned from Camas’ recent experience – see attached.
Any county-wide measure such as an MPD or even a PFD that will tax the more than 50% of county residents who will never use the PT pool seems likely to fail.
Total county population = 33,000
Population of “capture area”, not including those communities that already have a pool = ~ 16,000
Wasting $110,000 of our money on a doomed election is not a wise move.
