Dear Commissioners,
I am writing to express my support for building a new aquatic center and to encourage you to support the recommendations presented to the BOCC in the final report developed by the Healthier
Together Aquatic Center project partners. Specifically, I am requesting you recommend moving forward with the project feasibility study so the public will have unbiased information
to weigh the merits of this proposal and ultimately, I hope you will support allowing the voters in Jefferson County to decide if they want a new pool through the proposed sales tax
vote in April.

I signed this letter because I believe we need a new pool in Jefferson County. The design and
how it gets paid for and who runs it all seem like details to be decided. The current pool is becoming
too old to source parts for. I'm open to a remodel if it seemed like it would extend the longevity stretching
out into the future. Sequim's pool is a good model to me because the adjoining weight room etc. add to the perks of a cost of membership. Last I heard, that pool completely supports
itself through user's fees.
lets have a meeting with Sequim and Port Angeles and see how we can do better.
