Dear Commissioner Brotherton,
My husband and I live just outside of Port Townsend, near Jacob Miller Road. We are retired and on a fixed income and strongly oppose an additional tax on our property that would benefit
very few people in the local area.
Furthermore, we are appalled at the state of our roads, sewer, and water systems and are absolutely flabbergasted that fixing these is not the city's highest priority. I'm not sure
why, at this point, Port Townsend doesn't dis-incorporate as they've shown they're completely incompetent at providing public services.
Please do not waste additional tax dollars running a special election in April, for a vanity project.
