Dear Jefferson County Commissioners,
As a resident of Port Ludlow I have no interest in paying for an aquatic center in Port Townsend or anywhere else in Jefferson county for that matter. In my experience public pools
are rarely used even in areas like Southern California, where I'm from, that the weather supports almost year round use.
The on-going maintenance costs are high and facilities like this frequently degrade quickly as scheduled maintenance is rarely kept up for long.
I would encourage you all to vote against encumbering all your constituents with the cost of this project which will, at best, benefit a very small population.
