Hello,
I would like to let you know that I cannot support the construction of the proposed pool.
I live in Quilcene. I will not use this proposed pool because of the distance, the hassle of driving into PT and finding parking, & the cost to use it (time, gas & usage fees).
A county pool, funded by county tax payers, should be free to the residents who fund it. It should also be situated in a location most accessible to the greatest number of residents
paying for its construction, which is not in the city of Port Townsend.
Times are tough. A "country-club" style pool is not on a whole lot of Jefferson County people's wish list right now.
