Dear Ladies and Gentleman:
I am writing in opposition - extreme opposition - to the proposed new aquatic center in Port Townsend. As a resident in Port Ludlow, I would NEVER use this center, and yet I might be
forced to help pay for it? I deeply object to that.
I also note that the local contractor who built the P.T.Aero Museum and the Port’s administrative offices, estimates that the proposed aquatic center will see $12 to $13 million in cost
overruns. In other words, yet another potentially huge bill for taxpayers who will see zero benefit from the project.
Please vote NO on this wasteful, inequitable project.
