Hello Jefferson County Board of Commissioners - I am opposed to the Aquatic Center proposal and do not want the cost of it being put on the ballot.
This proposal does not serve the county as a whole in many ways, in my opinion, after checking into it. It is not centrally located to best serve the entire county, it is much more elaborate
than what we need in our communities, the cost is understated due to possible issues with the site chosen and everything involved in building such a facility, there is less expensive
land available more centrally located in our county, my town (Port Ludlow) already has community pools to serve our residents (as do many other communities), many of us cannot afford
a rise in taxes for this unnecessary elaborate center, I don't think the demographics of our county's residents has been carefully considered regarding affordability and need, and I
do not believe this proposal considers any other part of Jefferson County than Port Townsend.
Please disapprove this proposal before it starts costing all county residents!
