Dear Members of the Board,
As you are aware, the Jefferson County Planning Commission approved the November 1st draft of the Shoreline Master Plan (SMP) after multiple rounds of public comment and involvement.
Staff at the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe are grateful that much of our feedback on earlier drafts regarding aquaculture in Jefferson County was adopted into this most recent version.
We are content with the November 1st revised SMP draft along with the November 15th Planning Commission recommendations, and we support this version being sent to the Department of Ecology
approval. If additional public comment and subsequent revisions take place in the future, staff at the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe would like to be notified before it is sent to Ecology.
