To Our Esteemed Commissioners:
The proposed swimming pool in Port Townsend is not suitable for use by the majority of county residents. Port Ludlow residents (of which I am one) already pay HOA dues which includes
the use of swimming pools. There is absolutely no justification for instituting a countywide tax increase to pay for a pool that would only be used by a few Port Townsend residents.
Don’t forget that you were elected by, and supposedly represent, the residents of the entire county, NOT just Port Townsend. I strongly oppose this swimming pool proposal.
