Dear Sir
I would like to register my opposition to the PT Aquatic Center. The fact that South County residents would need to pay for this is rediculous. If we ever wanted to use this facility
it would be a roughly 2 hour round trip each time and the likelihood that any of us would do this regularly is highly unlikely so why should we be taxed for a facility we would never
use detector distance alive? Thus should not be a county tax but rather a Port Townsend tax. Shame on Jefferson County the only reason this is a County issue is because the City can’t
pay for it with out taxing all of us even though we would never use it!
I urge you to stop this and to look for a way to make this a city project instead.
