SUBJECT: ADVISORY BOARD APPOINTMENTS (2)re: Jefferson County Board of
Equalization.
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
On November 13, 2023, we received notification that a Board of Equalization(BOE)member had resigned.
Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) staff advertised the vacancy until December 8, 2023. The BOCC
staff received two applications. During the BOCC Chamber meeting on December 11,:2023,the BOCC staff
discussed accepting both applications and recommend:
1. Joseph H. Langjahr
2. Joni Blanchard
ANALYSIS:
After said recommendation the BOCC approved the following appointments:
1. Joseph H. Langjahr—Three (3) Year Term expiring December 11, 2026
2. Joni Blanchard—Un-expired Three (3) Year Term expiring May 13, 2025
RECOMMENDATION
Approve the letters for newly appointed Board of Equalization members:
1. Joseph H. Langjahr
2. Joni Blanchard.
