Good morning.
Here is the WSDOT holiday travel news release going out to media at 10 this morning. With half a million passengers expected to ride between December 20 and 31, it will be a busy time.
Our hardworking Vessels Maintenance team are pushing to get at least one of the two boats out for repairs back in safe service, so we can increase capacity on routes currently downsized,
but if that’s not possible, we’ll continue with current service levels. Of course most of all, we appreciate the women and men who will work at our terminals and on our vessels over
the holidays, ensuring their fellow Washingtonians and visitors can travel to gatherings with family and friends.
I hope you have good and restorative holidays and 2024 brings good health and happiness.
