Community Event Discussion & Planning
Please join us Wednesday for a community and stakeholder discussion about HICKORY SHIRT HERITAGE DAYS 2024. Forks Chamber and Christi Baron, president of West End Business & Professional
Association would like to invite community members and organizations that value this unique event and who want to keep it going to celebrate our heritage. In 2024, we plan to have a
month-long calendar of events under the HSHD umbrella.
Bring your ideas, enthusiasm, and input and let's plan something great for 2024! Everyone is invited so feel free to spread the word. Pat Soderlind and Jennifer Zaccardo will be helping
us organize the overall event.
We are hoping to get participation from the following organizations & entities:
American Legion, City of Forks, Department of Natural Resources, Forks Community Hospital, Forks Elks Lodge, Forks Library, Forks Lions, Forks Timber Museum, Hispanic Community, Logger
& Trucker Picnic organizers, Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary, Pacific Coast Salmon Coalition, Port of Port Angeles, Quileute Tribe, QVSD, Rainforest Council for the Arts, West
End Historical Society
The lunch special is Hawaiian wrap with cream cheese and crushed pineapple, or you can order off the menu. Our meetings take place at Blakeslee's Bar & Grill, 1222 S. Forks Avenue, 11:30
am – 1 pm and are open to the public. All are welcome to attend. We will not have a Zoom or call-in option due to limited internet at the venue. Chamber meetings take place October
through May.
