In 2023, we witnessed real hope generate real change through the generosity, commitment and caring of people who turned to JCF because they understood they could not take on big issues alone—affordable housing, childcare, creative entrepreneurship and environmental protection. This year, over 1200 residents of Jefferson County and 300 local nonprofits, business and government agencies came together through JCF to create positive change here. We want to thank each and every one of you for working together to keep our beloved community moving forward. We are honored by your trust and we look forward to seeing where you take us in 2024. NEW HEALTHCARE FUND Fund Designated to Support Jefferson Healthcare Foundation Established at JCF Jefferson Community Foundation is pleased to announce the establishment of the Jefferson Healthcare Foundation Fund, a fund designated to expand the Healthcare Foundation’s efforts to foster community well-being. The Healthcare Foundation is passionately dedicated to supporting the mission of the independent public hospital district, aligning perfectly with the Community Foundation’s broader goal of community well-being. The public is invited to contribute donations <https://jcfgives.us18.list-manage.com/track/click?u=2d958d33b3a756c859d7fa262&id=a76802c0c2&e=6c7a2ceb1f> to support Healthcare Foundation activities such as the purchase of a linear accelerator (LINAC) machine for cancer radiation therapy, women’s healthcare, and other emerging needs as determined by Jefferson Healthcare physicians and administrators. In addition to managing the designated Fund and serving as a thought partner, the Community Foundation is providing donor processing services to Jefferson Healthcare Foundation which will help build its capacity while it focuses on its mission to fund vital equipment and services for Jefferson Healthcare. This collaboration comes at a crucial time when community support of healthcare is essential. Through this designated fund, the resources and expertise of both organizations will be connected, and Jefferson Healthcare will be able to amplify its impact. . . .
