Good afternoon, With a lot going on at WSF and several new information materials I thought you’d find useful for correspondence with constituents and your own background on what’s happening at Washington State Ferries, I’m sending several topics in this one email. 2023 Year in Review Our annual recap of the ferry system, highlights and accomplishments along with challenges, was published last week. It’s available online <https://wsdot.wa.gov/sites/default/files/2024-01/WSF-YearIn Review-2023.pdf> and was sent out to subscribers to the WSF Weekly Update <https://wsdot.wa.gov/travel/washington-state-ferries/about-us/weekly-update> . 2023 Ridership summary and significant stats Today, we shared a news release <https://wsdot.wa.gov/about/news/2024/state-ferries-welcome-13-million-more-riders-2023> with media outlets detailing 2023 ridership trends and statistics. Please see attached. Reminder: Community meetings this week on 1/17 and 1/18 We are hosting our first round of systemwide community meetings this week. Feel free to join us – registration information for the Zoom meetings is online <https://wsdot.wa.gov/travel/washington-stat e-ferries/about-us/community-participation> . We will also be recording the meetings and posting the video to the website on Friday.
