Good afternoon to all –
Happy New Year and hope everyone is finding joy in our “Winter Season.” This is an update to the status of the Olympic Peninsula Tourism 5-year Master Plan.
We have moved the edited content to the design phase. This is the home stretch for the research and plan stages. It’s just the beginning of the REAL work!
Our timeline says we will be able to provide a “sneak peek” to those copied herein. This is the Visioning Workshop + Leadership Team group – the one that gathered at the golf course
in Sequim.
So – please anticipate:
1. A copy of the master plan will be e-mailed to you on February 2nd. While this is not the FINAL version, it will be very close. Our hope/intent in sharing is to give you an opportunity
to read through it and offer any significant changes/suggestions.
2. We will then schedule a zoom (again for this group) to have a “conversation” about your thoughts. This will be at 9:30am on Friday, February 9th. We hope you’ll be able to join
on that call.
3. We are working on a Regional Olympic Peninsula Tourism Summit – likely April 8 & 9 or April 9 & 10. Again, please pencil this in (does anyone still use a pencil?) as it will be an
exciting time to roll out the plan, including an implementation outline. (There will be additional content, this is in the works.)
