SUBJECT: MOTION TO AFFIRM re: 2024 Affordable Housing and Homeless
Housing Recommendation from the Housing Fund Board (HFB) for
Unallocated Funds
STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
During their December 7, 2023 meeting, the Housing Fund Board approved a motion to recommend that the
Board of County Commissioners issue an RFP in an amount not to exceed $194,130 for Unallocated Affordable
Housing Funds, for qualifying projects to be undertaken in 2024.
The Commissioners approved the issuance of an RFP on December 11, 2023, and staff advertised.
ANALYSIS:
On January 3, 2024, the Housing Fund Board met and reviewed the only application received, for
Bayside Housing: Woodley Place Operations, in the amount of$95,489. They unanimously
approved a motion to recommend funding the project in full.
RECOMMENDATION:
Review the HFB recommendation and take-action to affirm the 2024 Affordable Housing (Fund 148) and
Homeless Housing (Fund 149) for Unallocated Fund expenditures as recommended.
