Do not open attachments or click on links if you are not expecting them. Good afternoon commissioners and staff, There has been a change in Mr Sprung's schedule and he now plans to be available on Feb 7, instead of Feb 6. I hope you will be able to make time for him to share info about his proposal for our aquatic center needs. I am including Monte and Al in this email because this technology may be useful to our Public Works Department for their construction needs. This is a great opportunity to learn about how Sprung Structures can solve some of our problems with inexpensive options. DCW misses the mark on the Sprung costs by a significant amount. DCW overshoots the Sprung price tag by about $17M and they have misrepresented other features of Sprung structures including longevity, maintenance, etc. Sprung estimates that they can deliver a plunge-ready pool facility for $13M. We need more elaboration on their proposal and a meeting would be beneficial. McLane Sprung will be in Washington in early February and he would like to meet with interested stakeholders to discuss his proposal and answer questions about this innovative design and technology. Jefferson County owes it to our residents to examine this opportunity to provide these cost savings while still offering a high quality and attractive facility which will serve us for many decades to come. I hope you will take advantage of Mr Sprung's kindness and generosity and truly analyze this proposal to determine if it suits the needs of Jefferson County.
