Greetings,
You have been receiving biannual updates on the T3 Watershed Experiment. This collaborative project aims to inform state and other land managers how alternative forest management practices
compare to the current ones in providing environmental, economic, and social benefits. It is a large-scale management experiment, partially funded by Washington State Legislature,
which takes place in the Olympic Experimental State Forest <https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.dnr.wa.gov/oesf__;!!K-Hz7m0Vt54!jKSturMmTJzLecDrJX-y0XqitIILmHvWlHO-ur1Jf9YhCrvcyysT-o3rBwa1LC84xG

I am sharing the implementation report <https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.dnr.wa.gov/publications/lm_oesf_t3_imp_rpt.pdf__;!!K-Hz7m0Vt54!jKSturMmTJzLecDrJX-y0XqitIILmHvWlHO-ur1Jf9YhCrvcyysT-o3r
Bwa1LC84xGpxMWeksHZEFmoOYVjDweLOOUz6$> for the project. The document summarizes the planning and implementation activities of the T3 study since its beginning in 2016 and describes
the rationale behind the major decisions and the lessons learned so far. The intended audience is DNR managers; DNR practitioners implementing the study, such as foresters and silviculturists;
study researchers (current and prospective); stakeholders and tribes interested in the project; and other land managers and researchers considering similar projects.
The project participants have a lot to be proud of in terms of research, implementation and collaboration. Thank you for your contribution and good will!
Regards,
Teddy
