STATEMENT OF ISSUE:
ADVISORY BOARD APPOINTMENT
Advisory Board appointment (1) re: Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC);
City of Port Townsend representative
ANALYSIS:
Mr. Steve King, the City of Port Townsend Public Works Director, has indicated that he
would like to serve another two-year term on the Solid Waste Advisory Committee.
Correspondence attached.
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve Mr. King's appointment to the SWAC and update the SWAC membership list.

ANALYSIS:
Ms. Alysa Thomas has indicated that she would like to serve another two-year term on
the Solid Waste Advisory Committee as the Skookum Contract Services representative.

RECOMMENDATION:
Approve Ms. Thomas' appointment to the SWAC and update the SWAC membership
list.

ADVISORY BOARD APPOINTMENT
Advisory Board appointment (1) re: Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC);
Waste Connections, Inc. representative
ANALYSIS:
Mr. Joey Deese, representing Waste Connections, the City of Port Townsend contract
municipal solid waste and recycling hauler and the only Washington Utility and
Transportation Commission licensed hauler in Jefferson County, has indicated that he
would like to serve another two-year term on the Solid Waste Advisory Committee.

RECOMMENDATION:
Approve Mr. Deese's appointment to the SWAC and update the SWAC membership list.
