Derek has been following HSN since our Under the Tent events in the summer of 2022 as a former reporter for the Leader. Covering the housing crisis early in the pandemic, and being housing
insecure himself, Derek’s passion for the community, lived experience, and general joy for gatherings and storytelling make him the perfect match for weaving the voices, people, and

We just wanted to applaud all the hard work our local partners put in to ensuring a future for affordable housing here in Jefferson County. The Department of Commerce has awarded three

Non-Financial Assistance Needed:
We want to thank you for making our Give or Get 5! campaign oh-so-successful and reminding us that it quite literally takes a village (er, City, or County) to achieve the goals we’ve
set out for ourselves.
While financial contributions help us throughout the year, we also have a few non-financial requests for our community. Maybe you have knowledge of, connections to, or a network that
we could utilize?
In 2024 we will also be seeking:
* Grants for continued development and fundraising support
* New office space starting in August for a team of three and room for conferences, meetings, or other volunteer gatherings
* Someone with a niche or skill with videography, editing, and production
Remember: The Give or Get 5! Campaign isn’t just about financial contributions. Help spread the mission of Housing Solutions Network with friends, neighbors, and colleagues. As a Network,
