Oath of County Auditor:
Administer oath to county Auditor, signed by Auditor and two witnesses (Election Coordinator
and Voter Registration Coordinator).
Required Notices:
- Notice of Filing Period (RCW.85.38.120). Published in the Port Townsend Leader
(County paper of record) on November 29, 2024.
o Filing Period;
o Place (location) for filing a declaration of candidacy.
o Published at least seven days prior to the closing of the filing period.
- Notice of Election (RCW 85.38.120). Published in the Port Townsend Leader (County
paper of record) on January 31, 2024.
o Describes the Election;
o Dates/times to be held;
o List election site in the district and where ballots may be cast.

o Published at least once, no more than ten days, nor less than three days
before the election.
Ballot Count:
Abstract of votes counted from February 7, 2024. The total number of ballots counted
equals the total number of credit given.
This was a hand count.
Logs:
Drop Box Seal Logs: Verifies that ballots were secured at all times and were closed
and secured at 8:00 pm.
Seal Logs: Verify that all election related materials remain under dual control at all
times.
Challenged Ballot Log: Verifies all challenged ballots are accounted for and secured
with canvassing materials. A total of __0__ ballots were challenged.

All voted ballots and spoiled ballots are secured with a numbered seal and will remain
secured and sent to retention.

The district shall retain core official documentation and certification of the election for 6 years
after the end of the calendar year.

Auditor to sign certification document.
