Dear Commissioners,
I am concerned about the impact of inadequately regulated geoduck farming in our county. Please update the Jefferson County’s Shoreline Master Program to include a CUP process, (standard
Conditional Use Permit) to cover future applications for geoduck farming. This should include new, expanded and converted tidelands. It is up to us to establish adequate Shoreline protections.
