Good Morning!
I just wanted to update to share a couple of budget items:
* $250K for septage study included in the House operating budget proposal.
* $136K for Jefferson County Public Health/Blue Heron Middle School included in the House capital budget.
* ALL of the TLT projects that you sent me, Heidi, are fully funded in the House capital budget.
It is common, this year, to see projects included in one budget but not both. However, now is a good time to do some advocacy with the Senate to encourage the inclusion of all three
items in the final negotiated budget.
I will send a separate email with language and addresses you can copy/paste to lend your voices to the ask for inclusion of the items above in the final budget.

Good Morning!
The Senate released their supplemental capital budget this morning. Two of the TLT projects from the list you shared with me, Heidi, are included (screenshot attached). The others aren’t.
There isn’t anything included for the Blue Heron Ocean Center, per public health’s request. I’m going to to try to find out if that can be worked into the House version of the budget.
We should see operating over the weekend, so I will update you on the septage study request. Transportation will be released next week, though I’m not aware of any JeffCo asks there.
Next year, we will be prepared to make asks for each of the three budgets. 😊
