HomeMy WebLinkAbout022324 - JeffCo IMT_ First JPREP Meeting of 2024Hello IMT members, As we talked about at our IMT meeting earlier this month, we are bringing back "JPREP" - the Jefferson/Port Townsend Regional Emergency Preparedness group. This meeting is held quarterly and is mostly for information sharing and relationship building among anyone and everyone - first responders, elected officials, community members, etc. After taking a pause during COVID, we are starting up this meetings again. The first will be held virtually in a smaller format in preparation for hopefully larger gatherings later this year. At this meeting, we will be talking about Nixle, our subscription text alert system, and its inner workings to give everyone a better understanding of when and how we send alerts and for what purpose. We'll also be hoping to receive feedback in an effort to better improve the system. The meeting will take place Friday, March 1 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. Zoom login below. This is open to anyone and everyone, so please feel free to spread the word. We will have our regular IMT meeting on March 6th as scheduled, so if we don't see you at JPREP, we'll see you there.
