With February practically in our rearview mirror and two weeks remaining in the legislative session, we have a quick update on where things currently stand for the state's transportation budget. We are approaching a very busy season at the County Road Administration Board where we look forward to spending time with our county partners at several upcoming events: First up will be our Legislative Authority Virtual Training <https://t.e2ma.net/click/lkk1rl/lghk51mb/ti0uyuc> , geared towards both new and seasoned elected officials on the roles of the County Engineer and our agency. There is still time to join, so be sure to register. We are also gearing up for our annual Road Design Conference <https://t.e2ma.net/click/lkk1rl/lghk51mb/9a1uyuc> coming up in Chelan! It is a one-of-a-kind event for public works staff to learn about the most cutting-edge technology and trends in road design and we look forward to seeing many of you there. In April, several staff will be speaking and exhibiting at the APWA Conference in Vancouver, WA. Please be sure to stop by our booth and say hello! And lastly, in response to high demand for our popular County Engineer Training <https://t.e2ma.net/click/lkk1rl/lghk51mb/p31uyuc> in May, we have added a second date in June. Please be sure to sign up if you are interested, as we expect this one to fill up quickly as well! As we head into Spring, we will also start making plans to hit the road.
