Review tariff changes relative to FAC recommendations Potential for lawsuit due to WSTC's 25-cent capital surcharge vs WSF's stated need for only 15 cents WSTC approval of ORCA-Lift Will only be done if leg funds it. Jefferson Transit not an ORCA participant, but does currently support Regional Reduced Fare cards which are accepted by WSF. Chocks – safety issue raised by customer Tom T to take it up at FAC exec (ExCom) Line cutting System-wide, but not a serious problem at PT-CV because of reservations Open Public Meetings Act and Public Records Act as they apply to FACs Expecting request to be sent to Attorney General by JeffCo Prosecuting Atty to get formal AGO Opinion Hybrid electric ferry - contract signed for 1st one from Vigor Jul 25, 2019 - Vigor Industrial LLC was purchased by The Carlyle Group (NASDAQ: CG) and private equity firm Stellex Capital Management. Electrification of PT dock (~ 2030 in WSF long range plan) PUD has contacted WSF re electrification of ferry dock -- long lead times (6-8 years). $600K study funded by legislature and work to be done by July, 2020. Kevin Streett (JPUD GM) is point. Origin-Destination Survey New one will be done in 2020, per WSF. Tom T. to follow up at ExCom to see what involvement, if any, by FACs (e.g., FACs get to review FROG surveys before they are sent out by WSTC). Car tabs, I-976 Discussion: If passed, would likely have severe impact on entire transportation system, WSF included. Decision: Bill M. moved, Tammi R. seconded that FAC issue a formal statement in opposition to I-976, using language to be borrowed from Jefferson Transit et al. Motion carried 4-0-1, with Valerie P. abstaining. Meeting adjourned until next regular meeting in November 3:05 pm ####
