Conservation Futures Site Visits 2024
Tuesday, March 12th, 2024 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Site visits will be video recorded
Dress for the weather and off-pavement walking. Bring a face mask (as desired), water, hat, sunscreen,
sunglasses, umbrella, etc. Please do your best to carpool, and be very cautious parking, entering, and leaving
vehicles. There’s very limited parking at the project sites. Please let us know if you’d like help arranging
carpooling from locations outside of Port Townsend and Quilcene.
Travelling to Project Sites from Port Townsend
8:20 am: Form Port Townsend carpools at the Park & Ride for travel to 190 McInnis Rd, Quilcene.

8:45 am: Form Quilcene carpools near Peninsula Food Store for travel to 190 McInnis Rd, Quilcene.

Directions from Port Townsend: Head south on WA-20. Keep straight to get onto WA-19/Airport Cutoff Rd. Take
a right turn on Center Rd. After 13.9 miles, take a left turn onto McInnes Rd. The destination is ~0.2 miles up
McInnes Rd, before the fork. Please use caution parking and exiting your vehicle.
Directions from Quilcene: Head north on Center Rd. After ~1.1 miles, take a right turn onto McInnes Rd. The
destination is ~0.2 miles up McInnes Rd, before the fork. Please use caution parking and exiting your vehicle.
9:00 am: ARRIVE at 190 McInnis Rd, Quilcene

10:30 am: DEPART for 11500 Center Rd, Quilcene

Head northwest on McInnes Rd toward Center Rd. Turn right on
Center Rd. The destination is ~2.5 miles up Center road, on the
left. Please use caution parking and exiting.
