Northwest Maritime Center is all about connecting people to opportunities on the water. That’s why we’re excited to invite you to our Maritime Career Fair on Saturday, March 16, from 10 AM–2 PM. This event is designed to help students and families learn more about opportunities in the maritime world. It’s a chance for middle and high school youth, their families, and anyone who is curious about working in maritime to meet industry professionals and explore the many pathways to a maritime career—including school programs and post-graduation opportunities. It was the most adventurous thing I have ever done. Only experienced skippers and boats under 22 feet could participate in the event put on by the Northwest Maritime Center. The seven-day journey began in Olympia, Washington, and ended in Port Townsend.
