Valley Road, Chimacum, WA 98325 Category: Facilities Bid Opportunities Status: Open Bid Recipient: Tracy Coleman, Central Services Director Description: CALL FOR BIDS County Project No. 30120TBD Notice is hereby given that Jefferson County, State of Washington, is accepting bids until 2:00 PM on Thursday March 28, 2024 via email at tcoleman@co.jefferson.wa.us , or they can be hand delivered Attn: Tracy Coleman, Central Services Director, 1820 Jefferson Street, Washington, 98368. An email receipt will be sent for those being sent via email. If you do not receive an email, your bid has not been received. The bid is for pressure washing, scraping and painting the Tri-Area Community Center which is approximately 6,000 sq. ft in size. Bids will be received until 2 p.m. on March 28, 2024. This bid provides for pressure washing, scraping areas that are needed and painting the building, this includes exterior rail, trim, flower boxes and doors. Paint to be used is Sherwin-Williams Exterior Duration Satin paint with the trim done in Sherwin-Williams Duration gloss. Color will be selected upon award. This will be a lump sum bid. You must do a site visit and inspection on your own. Work to begin no later than June 10, 2024. Work to be completed within 20 working days from mutually agreed start date, yet no later than July 8, 2024. Please direct all questions to tcoleman@co.jefferson.wa.us. No questions will be answered after Monday, March 25, 2024 at 5 PM. There is no Engineer’s Estimate. Photos follow on next page Bid Documents: This is a lump sum bid inclusive of prevailing wage labor and all materials to complete the job. Bids must include the following line items: • Mobilization • Labor • Pressure Washing • Paint Materials • Bond • Tax Each bid shall be accompanied by a surety bond, postal money order, cash, cashier’s check or certified check payable to the Treasurer of Jefferson County in the sum of five (5%) percent of the bid amount, to be forfeited to Jefferson County by the successful bidder if he/she fails to enter into a contract and file an acceptable surety bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within ten (10) calendar days of the award. Jefferson County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to Jefferson County and to waive all informalities in the bidding. The Jefferson County Public Works, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
